No  – cupping should not be painful. You may feel a mild pulling or warm suction sensation as the cups create gentle pressure on the skin. The treatment is designed to be deeply relaxing, releasing tightness and tension in the muscles.
After treatment, some circular marks can appear where the cups were placed. These are not bruises – they’re signs of increased blood flow and usually fade naturally within 3–20 days.

The marks are temporary and completely normal. They result from the suction drawing stagnant blood and toxins to the surface, allowing fresh oxygenated blood to circulate more freely.
The colour of the marks can vary depending on how much tension or stagnation your body holds – darker spots often indicate more tension. They fade gradually within a few days, leaving your skin and muscles refreshed.

A typical session lasts 20–45 minutes, depending on the area being treated. It begins with a short consultation to discuss your health concerns, followed by the placement of the plastic cups on specific areas of the body.
After the cups are removed, your therapist may perform a light massage to enhance relaxation and improve circulation further.

For chronic pain, muscle tension, or detoxification, weekly sessions may be recommended at first. Once symptoms improve, you can maintain results with monthly sessions.
